don’t you just love it when the stars align and everything just comes together??  that’s exactly what happened with kaitlyn’s session.  gorgeous weather.  gorgeous location.  gorgeous subject!!!  a photographic trifecta!!  when she’s not striking terror in to the hearts of her opponents on the soccer field, kaitlyn is preparing to be a future teacher. lucky future students…

i just love photographing seniors whom i have known since their elementary school days!!  and in alex’s case, include little league days!  i had the great pleasure of photographing his brother two years ago, and was thrilled that alex chose to follow suit.  a future film editor who spends a great deal of time behind a camera, alex did a fine job on the other side…

ace pitcher for the varsity baseball team and all-star nice guy, drew was an absolute treat to photograph.  i am pretty certain that senior pictures were not on his “best thing about being a senior” list, but i loved how took one for the team and gave it his best shot!  his killer baby-blues made my job all the more easy.  grab some popcorn, sports fans…

i did mention he’s a pitcher, right?  and i did mention killer baby-blues, right?  this one is a home run…

after assisting me on nearly every session this year, it was finally casey’s turn to get in front of the camera!!  this future educator is a fine photographer in her own right.  she knew she wanted something fun and fresh.  love that!!  so we set out exploring a new location.  i’d say casey did pretty darn fine!!  but you be the judge…

casey, i cannot decide which is your most killer feature.  those exotic eyes or that infectious smile…  i think it’s the smile!!!

mother nature has not been faithful to picture this.  in fact, she has been downright fickle!!  rain has caused delays and uncertainty.  when paige’s first session was washed out, we hoped for better the second time around.  things started out a little rocky, but i cannot tell you how amazingly fantastic they ended!!  hold on to those seats, ladies and gentleman…

a midi for the varsity soccer team and headed south for college, this future physician possesses not only brains but beauty as well.  speaking of beauty, we started the session with the ever-oh-so fabulous-make-up-artist-extraordinaire, jen, applying paige’s make-up (disclaimer!!  this shot is from the first session which never took flight:((  but you get the idea!)

the grey skies gave way to a deliciously dreamy afternoon glow.  this could be my fav of the day…
