the miracle that is…

bread.  i am truly amazed that 4 simple ingredients – flour, yeast, salt and water – produce such a food of epic proportions.  for me, baking bread is cathartic.  there is something soothing about mixing, kneading, shaping and baking.  the fact that those motions produce something that helps to sustain my  family is almost secondary. ...
